My name is Joshua Hajok. I grew up in a city called Miri. I’m not Chinese, as most of my friends thought i’m Chinese, even after after a whole month or two knowing me. Both my parents are Kayan! I am pure Kayan! No mix. Just pure. :p
I love taking pictures. I love playing with flashes, all these photography stuff. I love it when people go “ooooooh… ahhhhhh” looking at my work. It makes me happy. But the most important thing for me is that when someone looks at my picture, I want them to understand what i’m trying to tell them. Telling them stories through my pictures. I want my pictures to stir their hearts, and make them think, and probably, make the world a better place.
